071008 - It is done..

Okay, my new script is done. I can't honestly say its complete, but the main goal was to make a
script that would keep up my journal up to date and make all necessary adjustments in the
related pages. It does that now. So why is my script incomplete? Simple. As i was working on it
i saw more possibilities in unix. If it can maintain a journal then why wouldn't it be able to
maintain the rest of my page?

I could start working on a gallery, i could make my quote section be updated by typing a single
word. Hell it's even possible to do this all by e-mail (i kid thee not)!

Anyway,.. i think its time to unleash my website now and disregard my old one. I will no longer
have to rely on WordPress. Don't get me wrong it's a great service, but its frustrating to me
because i don't know any PHP. And without knowledge of PHP i cannot change it's layout to fit
my needs. Aside of that, i like to maintain my page while i am offline. So if i go through a
month without internet like say,.. when i was in Australia. I can still update my page offline
without saving everything for one humongus post when i get back. It will still be 20-30
seperate posts arranged by the day they were written and if i want, even by he time it was
written.

This was also my main motivation for writing this script. Simply and basically to update a page
while being offline. Having every day seperate. Ofcourse it could also be used as a diary of
your vacation (thats what *I* use it for anyway). In fact, I am at Hakata station waiting for
the train as i am writing this post. I'm allready using it for what it was written. Man i love
myself.

I will make my script public the first chance i get. There are still many things i want to add
but they mostly to increase lazyness. I feel 1337 now.

Update
Okay, I'm now at Aso station and im dead tired. I've taken the train from Hakata st. to
Kumamoto st. to this place to visit mt. Aso. Me being me, i decided to go for a walk.. a very
long walk. The kind of long walk that wears you down. And i still hadn't even reached the darn
mountain yet ><

So yeah I'm heading back home without a price ^^. Still though I can't say i regret anything,
I've been to parts where no tourist goes, i some some very exquisite spiders and some of the
biggest webs webs i've ever seen. So I won't be going back emptyhanded. As for the other stuff,
I may not have been able to enjoy the views i've missed or the experience of being at those
spots, but hey. I can always download images from the internet if necessary right?
The big issue here is: "What am i gonna tell Tamae?" I don't wanna tel her that i messed up and
saw nothing but forest. No matter how much I enjoyed being there. Oh well, I'll just tell her
the truth. Nothing to gain from a lie anyway.

God i love mu unix code (and Tamae ofcourse!)
