Jerk my ego!
little you know of it this post will be as boring as the previous one and you may want to
go to another site with flashy gifs and shiny objects to keep you busy. But don't stay away, I
am not going to make a habit out of making this kind of posts.
Now for whoever is interested in what i have to say (those people actually exist!) here's more.
Everything i wrote last time was written without any scientific background other than some
documentaries and books on popular science. So i assumed all i had conjured was in the end
nothing other than bullshit. However, it would seem i actually made some sense!
I mentioned that space-time distortions would change the frequency of light waves and thus
their colours. (scenario A.) There are several things i want to say about what i wrote.
A shift in the wave length of light (what i called 'change in the frequency of light waves') is
called a redshift (increase) or a blueshift (decrease). But thats semantics.
Though i kept talking about redshifts in space-time distortions (pure guessing) there is a such
thing as gravitational redshift. Even tough these things were allready known since the early
1930's i still feel like a modern day Erathostenes.
